Bushy annual with narrow grey-green veined leaves with a sweet, tangy flavour of lemon mixed with anise. Stalks are hairy and the small white flowers are lemon-scented. Helps to control a variety of garden pests
Cultivation: Grow in light well-drained soil in full sun. Pinch out growing tips to encourage bushy growth and avoid early flowering. Needs an average temperature of 10oC or above
Height & Spread: 30-45cm x 25cm
Culinary Uses: Leaves are used as a garnish in salads and dips, vinaigrettes and drinks. Best used and eaten fresh as looses its flavour if stored.
