Basil (Cinnamon) Ocimum basilicum ‘Cinnamon’

Upright, branching, aromatic annual or short-lived perennial. The dark to light green leaves have distinct purple veining and are held on purple stems. Flowers are lavender-pink. Flavour is spicy with a hint of mint.  Helps to control a variety of garden pests

Cultivation:  Grow in light well-drained soil in full sun. Pinch out growing tips to encourage bushy growth and avoid early flowering. Needs an average temperature of 10oC or above

Height & Spread:  60cm x 30cm

Culinary Uses:  Used as a garnish in salads and soups. Added to pesto, marinades, oils, vinegar, sauces james and honey. Flavouring for cookies and pies.
