Salad Leaf ‘Elan’ (Lamb’s Lettuce) Valerianella locusta

Often called corn salad this low growing salad crop can be grown all year round.  It has a slightly nutty flavour and is fully hardy.  Does best early or later in the season as does not like hot dry weather

Cultivation:   Grow in any reasonable moderately fertile soil.

Pests & Diseases:   May suffer from aphids, slug and snails. Powdery mildew in dry summers
