It was really great to take up the reins again and head to a plant fair this weekend. The 3rd May 2026 saw me back behind my plant stall, this time at Wells House and Gardens for their first ever spring Fair. The day started drizzly and cloudy but cleared up to a bright warm sunshine by lunchtime. A selection of my Irish Specialist Nursery Association pals came to join us for the day and it was truly great to meet up with them all again. The customer turnout was a little low and hopefully it will grow in future years, as the word filters out. I would like to thank Wells House and Gardens for inviting us along. Plus I need to give a big shout out to all my friends for encouraging me back on the road. Especially Deirdre Morgan Jones who has spent many hours helping out in the Nursery and my trusty Work Experience Student Louise Keane who never wants to prick out a tomato seed again. Without their help I would never have made it back.
