Cultivation:  Pumpkins are large spreading or trailing plants that need space to grow. They like a fertile, free-draining soil. They need shelter from cold winds and they are heavy feeders so generous amounts of compost/FYM are needed

Pests & Diseases:  Slugs may attack newly planted seedlings
