1. INTRODUCTION
Irish Fuchsia Nursery is a wholesale and retail nursery, we are generally open to the public Tuesday to Saturday. It is advisable to ring in advance to avoid disappointment and to ensure that we are not out on a delivery, at a Plant Show or Event
We will endeavour to post on our News and Events page dates and times of all upcoming shows, events and markets.
2. PRODUCTS
PLANT DESCRIPTION & DETAILS
While every effort is made to post accurate and up to date photographs of each plant available for sale, it is not always feasible to do so. Our aim is to be as exact as possible. However, variations in colour, size and shape may occur. Descriptions are approximate and should be used for indication purposes only.
PRICE
Price of product is set by the nursery, is dependant on pot size and subject to change. In general price will remain unchanged once order has been accepted. Acceptance of order is subject to availability of product except in the case of plants going out of stock. This risk is more likely in low volume stock.
LOW VOLUME STOCK
Product is considered to be in low volume when current stock is less than ten items. Products which are in low volume will be indicated on the website where possible.
OUT OF STOCK
From time-to-time product can go out of stock before website is updated due to direct sales from nursery, market or shows. In this case customers will be offered the same plant in a larger or smaller pot size, the nearest alternative plant, pre-order of newly propagated plant or the option to cancel their order.
SUBSITUTE OR REPLACEMENT PLANTS
We do not substitute or replace plants in an order unless by prior agreement with the customer.
3. PAYMENT TERMS
Your credit/debit card will be charged through Stripe, PayPal or Elavon Card Reader. Mail orders cannot be completed without receipt of payment. Items for delivery must be paid full, before or at point of delivery.
4. ORDERING
Mail orders are completed through our online shop. Payment must be made in full before postage/delivery. (See order form for details).
Collection orders may be placed online and paid in full before or on collection.
Larger delivery orders can be placed directly by phone and paid for on or before delivery.
Plants can be pre-ordered for later in the season or the following season. (See optimum delivery/order dates). There is no need to make any payment for such items until order is ready for despatch. We will contact the customer by phone or email, in advance, in such cases. Larger pre-orders for plugs or plantlets may be subject to a deposit negotiated with the client.
5. DELIVERY
Mail order items will be delivered by An Post or Courier, depending on the size and weight of the order. Cost of postage is based on weight. Due to the brittle nature of larger plants especially Fuchsia these items will be delivered by ourselves, where possible. Cost and terms of delivery for these items will be agreed individually.
6. RETURNS & REFUNDS
We do not accept returns on perishable items. Every effort is made to package and deliver quality plants in excellent condition. Certain plants have a limited shelf life for mail order in this regard (see optimum order/delivery dates). Plants may be cut back or trimmed to avoid damage in transit. This will not affect the ability of the plant to regrow and produce a flourishing specimen.
Should your order arrive to you in less than appropriate condition. Please do not hesitate to contact us immediately, by phone or email. A photograph the plant or plants before and after full removal from packaging is required. There is no need to return the item. If we deem the plant to be irreversibly damaged, we will send a full refund. I remedial care is appropriate we will negotiate a partial refund or discount from you next purchase which ever is more agreeable to you.
Complaints of this nature should reach us within 2days of delivery.
7. FAILED PLANTS
It is our policy to replace all hardy perennial plants that fail within one year of purchase. Customers will need to send a photograph of the plant in order to ascertain that the plant did not fail due to neglect or poor cultivation. Once the problem has been ascertained a refund, discount note or remedial instructions will be forwarded.
Complaints of this nature should reach us within the first 12 months.
8. OPTIMUM ORDER & DELIVERY DATES
Nothing in the plant world is ever set in stone but there are however preferred ordering and delivery times for certain plants, bulbs, plugs and plantlets.
