Mild flavoured, pointed heads, excellent source of vitamin C and antioxidants

Cultivation:   Cabbage is a hardy vegetable that doesn’t like extreme heat.  Grow in previously manured or composted soil.  They prefer an alkaline soil so add calcified seaweed or garden lime to help prevent clubroot. Cabbage are heavy feeders and demanding of the soil.

Pests & Diseases:   Susceptible to Cabbage root fly, caterpillars, especially Small and Large Cabbage White Butterfly, Cabbage Moth, Mealy aphid and Clubroot
