Oreganum, Greek oregano (Origanum vulgare)

Organic Seed. A perennial, woody based, sub-shrub, with dark-green aromatic leaves and cluster of small pink flowers in summer and early autumn. Attractive to bees, pollinators and other beneficial insects.

Cultivation:  Grow in sharply drained soil in full sun. Prefers a neutral to alkaline soil and sheltered site

Culinary Uses:   Used fresh or dried, in Greek, Italian and Mexican cooking.  Leaves and flowers can be infused in teas.
