| Cultivation: | Bulbs should be planted in a suitable container and placed in a cool, |
| dark place for 12 to 13 weeks or until the shoots have reached a height | |
| of 3 to 5 cm. Then place in a warm room away from direct sunlight and | |
| bulbs should flower within 2 to 3 weeks depending on temperature. | |
| After flowering allow bulbs to die back naturally and they can be planted | |
| out in the garden to flower the following year | |
| Toxicity: | All parts may cause severe stomach upset if ingested, contact with bulbs may aggravate skin allergies. |
